FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Frequently Asked Questions

What can the patient expect in their first appointment together?

First, Dr Bennett will conduct a comprehensive medical history to learn about your current symptoms, medical history, and lifestyle. He may also review any past medical records or imaging studies you have.

Next, he will perform a thorough neurological examination, which may include a series of tests to assess your brain function, such as eye movements, balance, coordination, and reflexes. They may also assess other neurological functions such as your cognitive abilities, sensory processing, and motor function.

Based on the results of your examination, he will develop a customized treatment plan customized to your specific needs. This may include a combination of therapies such as vestibular rehabilitation, Eye movement therapy, targeted rehabilitation exercises, and hands on therapies.

Throughout the process, Dr Bennett will work closely with you to ensure you understand your condition, your treatment options, and what you can do to optimize your health. He will also provide specific exercises or lifestyle changes to perform at home to help you continue to improve.

It’s important to note that neurological treatment is typically a process and requires active participation and engagement from the patient. Therefore, it may take several appointments and a consistent effort to see significant improvements in your neurological health.
